Opera UTEP: Giving Voice

As part of El Paso Opera and Opera UTEP's GIVING VOICE festival, headlining artist mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte and the Opera UTEP singers perform an all-Latin American concert. The concert features a delicious line-up of music by mostly Mexican composers (Ponce, Dominguez, Grever and more), with other Latin American writers as well. PLUS: a world-premiere arrangement of a familiar favorite that you won't want to miss!

Prof. Diana Esparza, soprano
Mariana Sandoval, mezzo-soprano
Samantha Dávalos, soprano
Dr. Esequiel Meza, pianist/vocal coach

Produced and directed by Cherry Duke.

This concert is presented in collaboration with El Paso Opera and with support from the UTEP Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

Free for UTEP Faculty, Students, and Staff

Masks are encouraged. Singers will be unmasked on the stage.
