The University of Texas at El Paso Department of Theatre & Dance is proud to present our next virtual production, Love Song, written by John Kolvenbach and directed by senior Sarah Curtis.
Beane lives his life in exile from others. His older sister, Joan, and her husband, Harry try their best to connect, but there are walls up that no one can break. Until Beane’s house is burglarized and his entire life changes. He develops a lust for life and a love for the thief, Molly. Joan and Harry try to discover the source of this change and by extension experience a positive change to their own lives. Kolvenbach’s writing is incredibly smart and gripping. This comedy reminds us what it is to be loved in its purest form.
