Fraternity and Sorority Life has a long history of tradition and excellence at the University of Texas at El Paso. The "Legacy: We Are Greek" Union Gallery exhibit will be held though Oct. 8 on the second floor of the Union East. The exhibit showcases the legacy of brotherhood and sisterhood with portraits of university faculty and staff with Greek affiliation as well as current leaders involved in fraternities and sororities.
In honor of the legacy of academics and leadership, the exhibit showcases awards given to Greek organizations from past and present. Celebrating the fraternity and sorority legacy of service, the exhibit also highlights the philanthropy initiatives of the current fraternities and sororities on campus. The exhibit is presented by the Student Engagement and Leadership Center, which oversees fraternity and sorority life on campus.
In partnership with the UTEP Heritage House, the exhibit also includes artifacts and old memorabilia dating back as far as the early 1930's in early days of Greek Life on Campus. Come visit the gallery to learn about the legacy of fraternities and sororities at UTEP.
