Dr. Ruben Moreno is an El Paso native. He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from UTEP. His primary examination includes quantitative and qualitative research on student success in post-secondary education, student studying along the U.S. - Mexico Border, and leadership theory and practices. He is currently the Director for the Secondary Teacher Education Program in the College of Liberal Arts and is a faculty member with the Master of Arts in Leadership Studies Program at UTEP. Dr. Moreno is a Mental Health Professional, a Licensed Professional Counselor and  previously worked as the Director for the College Assistance Migrant Program (C.A.M.P.) at UTEP, which was recognized as Top Ten Performer by the U.S. Department of Education.
