On Wednesday November 6, 2019, the Center for Inter-American Border Studies (CIBS) and Mexicanos en Exilio - a community organization, will screen and discuss the film 'El Guardian de la Memoria.' This is a film about the stories of mexican nationals seeking asylum that were forced to leave the country because of violence, life threats, or political persecution. This is the story of survivors from here at our Paso del Norte Region, from towns such as Guadalupe and Villa Ahumada, and the city of Juárez, and the lawyer fighting to process their asylum Carlos Spector.
