UTEP will join the national celebration of all first-generation students! Join us for lunch and panel discussion where you’ll hear the stories of first-generation students, faculty, and staff.
First-generation students are defined as undergraduates whose mother, father or guardian did not receive a baccalaureate degree.
Nov. 8, 2019, marks the 54th anniversary of the signing of the 1965 Higher Education Act (HEA), which has helped millions of students become the first members of their families to earn college degrees.
