ACM Hack 915 Hackathon

ACM presents Hack 915 Hackathon. A collaboration between the CS and Business disciplines to create bright new ideas to change the community.

Hack 915 is the first annual multidisciplinary Hackathon to give the opportunity to students to bring new innovative ideas outside the classroom and work together in a group towards solving a problem, allowing them to showcase their skills. The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter at UTEP will lead this Hackathon to take place at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) on Friday, Nov. 22 - Sunday, Nov. 24.

In collaboration with the Mike Loya Center for Innovation and Commerce, STTE Foundation, the Regional Economic Development Association, and sponsorship from Prudential Financial, Google, and Perabeac, this Fall 2019 Hackathon will be the biggest to date at the University of Texas at El Paso.

This three-day event will put participants through a rigorous design and development cycle, where students will be tasked to solve a problem using computer science (elements) and building a sustainable business model for their solution.
